It means I believe the mental health industrial complex has caused real harm and I work intentionally to offer care that avoids repeating those patterns. That I don’t think coercive care leads to deep or transformational healing. And I trust that clients are always the experts on their own experience.

I will work with you to build networks of care that support your healing, guided by principles of harm reduction and respect for your autonomy. I work diligently to avoid choices that go against your wishes, and in our first session I’ll explain exactly what that looks like (including how mandated reporting works) so you can maintain as much agency as possible in your care.
